‘To serve and protect’ has always been Polk’s life’s work, having retired as a Lieutenant from the Phoenix Police Department in 2004. Throughout three decades in law enforcement, he served in many capacities, from detective to professional standards (Internal Affairs) and special projects. A graduate of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia, Polk also holds a Masters degree from Northern Arizona University. He maintains the professional designation of Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS), Series 7 and 63 licenses, along with insurance licenses for Health, Life, Variable Annuity and Variable Life.
