Our Story
The Pacific Northwest (PNW) is known as the undisputed mecca of coffee. Pike Place Market, Starbucks and a plethora of coffee concepts have flourished, due to its rainy climate and bottomless demand for caffeinated beverages. When choosing a favorite in the South Sound, Anthem Coffee has seven locations that influence the coffee culture in the Tacoma, Washington area. Anthem Coffee is also behind the recent acquisition of Ebb + Flow Coffee Co in Verrado.
Co-founder Bryan Reynolds admits that Anthem Coffee’s PNW roots have ‘grounded’ them. “Because of the coffee legacy in our back yard, we push each other to be better. Now we are excited to be expanding to Arizona, blending our values with the inspired Ebb + Flow concept and culture that already embodies who we are.”
When Reynolds isn’t pursuing his passion for the coffee business, he coaches business owners, and is a motivational speaker and author. He has fully embraced their two Arizona Ebb + Flow locations, establishing a residence near Verrado to support the team, meet his neighbors and integrate their operation with great care and intention. Ebb + Flow on Main Street will officially change their name to Anthem Coffee on November 1.
What signature beverages might you find on the Anthem Coffee menu? For starters, White Lavy Latte, Crème Brulee, Honey Matcha Latte, Crunch Berries Latte, Marbled Cold Brew and Passionfruit Tango Tea Lemonade.
Pair a delicious hot or cold beverage with seasonal handcrafted pastries from their in-house bakery: Raspberry Pop Tart, Banana Chocolate Chip Muffin, Lemon Confetti Cookie, Blueberry Lemon Scone, Strawberry Sprinkle Rice and more. Top if off with shakes, smoothies, energy drinks, teas, lemonades, classic coffee drinks and more to entice the entire family.
Anthem Coffee was founded 17 years ago, by Bryan Reynold’s parents, whose real-life mission “to create experiences that change lives and bring people back” has seeped into the culture of everything they do. In addition to their family, Reynold’s parents fostered eight children and ended up adopting four of those children as their own. To this day, you’ll find this tight-knit family hard at work behind the scenes.
“Our daily mission is ‘Heroic Hospitality’, Reynolds said. “We are here to love and serve each other. To keep it fresh and in perspective, we ask ourselves: did we deliver on what we did yesterday? We fell in love with Main Street’s charm and mixed-use convenience, right in the heart of Verrado. We can’t wait to greet and serve our new friends and neighbors.”
