Empower Physical Therapy

Empower Physical Therapy's mission is to strengthen lives through helping others, by building relationships and providing personalized patient care. When you walk through the doors of Empower Physical Therapy’s clinic on Main Street, you’ll be greeted by practitioners who also call Verrado home.

Our Story

Calling all weekend warriors, team athletes and patients recovering from an accident or surgery.   As Verrado continues to grow, so does the need for local professional rehab, strength, preventative and therapeutic services.  Empower Physical Therapy has re-upped its commitment to the community by making a move from the Davis building into a larger clinic in the Jackson office building on Main Street, where two physical therapists and two physical therapy assistants treat patients. Empower’s Clinic Director on Main Street is Dr. Eric Aldava, PT, DPT of Buckeye. Dr. Aldava and his team are committed to Verrado residents in need of a wide range of professional services. “Empower relocated and expanded our bustling Main Street clinic, as our patients come first,” Dr, Aldava said. “We do our best to get new patients in for treatment as soon as possible.”

The charm and neighborly spirit of the Verrado community aligns with Empower’s mission to provide expert locally-provided care, with all the backing and benefits of a large corporate structure. “We have a vested interest in helping our friends and neighbors heal.” Dr. Aldava added. “Main Street is a family-friendly commercial district with the added convenience of extended hours and amenities right here in the neighborhood our patients call home.”

Verrado resident. Dr Angela Gonsalves, PT, DPT, recently joined the Main Street office, specializing in pelvic floor physical therapy for men, women and pediatrics. This can include people who are experiencing pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, tailbone pain, are pregnant or newly post-partum or recently post-surgical with a prostate removal or hysterectomy. She also treats pediatric pelvic floor which can include bedwetting, difficulty going outside of the home, at school or constipation.

Their most common patient requests? Rehabilitation for joint replacement therapy that often begins as soon as the day after a shoulder, knee or hip replacement. Empower on Main Street also sees its share of weekend warriors and local athletes that want to improve mobility or reduce pain caused by stressed joints and muscles.

Empower Physical Therapy operates clinics throughout Arizona, with affiliates in California. Texas and Louisiana. Prospective patients are encouraged to schedule a free assessment by calling the Main Street clinic at 623-401-0550.
