Our Story
For 13 years and running, Main Street in Verrado has been anchored by a vibrant neighborhood market with strong ties to its home state of Arizona.
“We maintain a people-oriented culture that begins with friendly staff and exceptional customer service,” Dave Ullman, general manager of Bashas’ on Main Street said. “You might also be surprised to know that Bashas’ is the last large grocery chain that bakes its own bread and doughnuts every day from scratch.”
Bashas’ on Main Street enjoys a reputation as number one in pizza sales in the entire grocery chain. Fresh pizza is available by the slice or by the pie, fired in their custom pizza oven. Their top seller is pepperoni, which many patrons pair with a selection from Bashas’ high-end collection of wine.
In addition to everyday staples, Bashas’ on Main Street offers a Bakery, Meat and Seafood, Deli, Produce and Floral departments, operated by a team of 40 dedicated employees.
“Whenever possible, we like to fire up the grill to serve mouth-watering hamburgers and hot dogs. And we are delighted to annually partner with the Verrado Assembly on the Founders Day Picnic, Fourth of July and Holiday Tree Lighting, among other events. Whenever the community gathers to celebrate the season, you’ll find us there!” Ullman added.
