It’s been four eventful years since best friends Karlie Warne and Liz Fast launched Ebb+ Flow Coffee Co. in the heart of Main Street. Since opening in October 2017, this caffeinated couple has kept Ebb + Flow’s shop bustling with a culture centered around community, customer service and fresh seasonal menus.

“It feels really good,” Liz admits. “We’re honored to be part of the local vibe on Main Street, which includes all ages, even students that stop by after class. As our business continues to blossom and Verrado continues its incredible growth, we’re now in a position to open a second location in Verrado next year.”

When asked which items on the menu have proven the most popular over time, the pair points to a variety of refreshing cold brews, including their House Brew, made in-house in small batches. Also on their Kegerator their Kombucha and CBD Cold Brew prove to be fan favorites. Their irresistible smoothie bowls and smoothies are packed with vitamins, minerals and everything from antioxidants to anti-inflammatory nutrients that remain in demand year-round. Also ranking high on guests’ lists is their signature Honey Lavender Latte, designed to soothe the senses.

Liz and Karlie have a few new tricks and treats up their sleeves for Halloween, as their Spooky Menu debuts on Friday, October 22. Ghouls and goblins are invited to try:

• Hocus Pocus: Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew with Soft Top
• Beetlejuice: Cherry Orange Italian Soda. Add cream and whipped cream for extra sweetness!
• Frankenstein: Creme de Menthe White chocolate blendie
• Witches Brew: Cherry lemonade with activated charcoal
• The Casper: Toasted marshmallow white mocha with cinnamon

“Some people might be surprised to know all the health benefits of activated charcoal,” Karlie said. “It’s good for digestion and can help whiten teeth.  It actually acts like a detox for the system.”

Ebb + Flow’s immersive coffee and tea experience was designed to be a gathering spot where guests connect and refresh. “Four years in, we remain grateful for our friends and neighbors in Verrado. Karlie and I strive to impact this wonderful community and its ongoing events in a positive way,” Liz said. “Our customers are the underlying motivation for everything we do.”
