While Main Street exudes the charm of a quaint downtown, a Fortune 500 company with global bandwidth resides in the Davis office building. Verrado residents Wayne and Robin Polk opened an Edward Jones branch in 2007, aligning themselves with a legacy that dates back to 1922.
In the U.S., Edward Jones serves nearly seven million clients through 11,000 offices conveniently located in the communities they serve. Larger than any other brokerage in the country, individualized service and personal relationships remains at the core. “As an Edward Jones financial advisor, it’s supremely important to invest my time to understand what you’re working toward before you invest your money,” Wayne Polk said.
‘To serve and protect’ has always been Polk’s life’s work, having retired as a Lieutenant from the Phoenix Police Department in 2004. Throughout three decades in law enforcement, he served in many capacities, from detective to professional standards (Internal Affairs) and special projects. A graduate of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia, Polk also holds a Masters degree from Northern Arizona University. He maintains the professional designation of Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS), Series 7 and 63 licenses, along with insurance licenses for Health, Life, Variable Annuity and Variable Life.
“I am with Edward Jones because of its exemplary training and culture,” Polk said. “The impetus for everything we do is focused around the client. We don’t have proprietary products, giving us the freedom to always do what’s best. Once we are engaged, our mission is to stay in touch throughout the year.”
